- Practice Cleanliness: Regularly cleaning your phone screen with a gentle, alcohol-free solution can help prevent bacterial buildup and acne development.
- Adopt Ergonomic Habits: Holding your phone at eye level can help minimise the strain on the neck and reduce the risk of premature wrinkles and using headphones to reduce phone to face contact.
- Maintain Skincare Routine: A consistent skincare regimen that includes antioxidants, moisturisers, and sunscreen can provide the necessary protection and support for healthy skin.
While our mobile phones have undoubtedly transformed the way we connect and engage with the world, it’s crucial to recognise their potential impact on skin health. Evidence based research highlights the association between prolonged mobile phone use and skin aging, acne, and wrinkles.
